Fahamore Lodge is a newly built 6 bedroom dormer bungalow located in Fahamore village on the Maharees peninsula in West Kerry.
Downstairs accommodation consist of 3 double bedrooms one of which is ensuite, bathroom with bath and large walk in shower, sitting room with satellite TV, large kitchen with larder style fridge, eye level double oven and grill, electric hob, dish washer and dining area. The utility room off the kitchen has freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
To the rear of the house is a large sun room with french doors to the patio area.
Upstairs are a further three bedrooms one sleeping three with a double and single bed complete with ensuite, one room with single bed and third room with double bed. There is also a large landing area for relaxing and a bathroom with large walk in shower. All upstairs rooms offer panoramic views of three bays Brandon, Scraggane and Tralee.
There is a large private garden ideal for kids of all ages and all six bedrooms are piped for satellite and domestic TV stations. As well as the TV in the sitting room there is a portable TV and DVD player available to use in any room you like.

The house is located 20 minutes drive from Tralee town where a wide range of activities are available for the tourist, e.g. national folk theatre, omniplex cinema, Aquadome, steam locomotive and many more.
The house is situated 14 miles along the Dingle Peninsula from Tralee which stretches for some 48km westward from Tralee town. The Dingle Peninsula has more interesting antiquities, historic sites and varied mountain scenery than any other part of Ireland.
Brandon Bay with the longest beach in Ireland, 12 mile, is 100 yards from the house. This beach is world famous for bathing, walking, horse riding, wind and kite surfing and angling.
Maharees is a long flat peninsula and as such is ideal for leisurely cycling. Bikes may be rented in Castlegregory village three miles away. There are many walks to be taken from the house varying from picturesque 30 minutes walks in the evening to long hikes along the beach. West Kerry is famous for its many walks and Mount Brandon the second highest mountain in Ireland and a challenging and rewarding climb dominates the view from the back of the house.
Spillane's Bar and restaurant is 100 meters away. The Green Room Bar is an enjoyable 15 minute walk over a sandy footpath and the upmarket Islands Restaurant is 600 meters further up the road at the harbour where some of the best scuba diving in the world is available.
Sandy Bay two miles from the house is a hive of activity in the summer months with Kiddie Clubs to entertain children in various water sports.

How To Get Here

Travel on the N86 for approximately 10 miles veering right at fork on road at Camp. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you arrive at the turn off for Castlegregory (sign posted). Take the turn for Castlegregory Village, continue through the village and take the road to Fahamore. After 3.5 miles you will pass Spillane's Bar on RHS. Continue for another 100 meters Fahamore Lodge is on LHS.
